Our Minister

Kevin Maul was hired to be our minister on May 24, 2020. 

Kevin  grew up in the Parkersburg area where he attended church at Lubeck Church of Christ.  He graduated from Parkersburg South High School before going to the West Virginia School of Preaching in Moundsville.  After graduation, he undertook a two year internship at the Washington Street Church of Christ in Fairview, WV,  where he was greatly involved with the youth and in charge of the area monthly youth program.  His duties at the Washington Street church included preaching once a week, covering when the main preacher was away, managing the songs and powerpoint, hosting bi-weekly youth devotional, and visiting the sick  and elderly. 

We at the Oakland church are pleased to have Kevin join us as our minister, and are looking forward to working with him to  spread the gospel on the Oakland area.
